STAFF OFFICERS

 

Chief Deputy Terry J. Risner has been in law enforcement since 1981. He accepted the appointment to the position of Chief Deputy in January 2003. He held the Merit Rank of Captain prior to this appointment.

Captain Michael S. Cain came to our department in 1988. He has been a merit ranked supervisor since 1995, and currently holds the Merit Rank of Captain to which he was promoted in 2003.

Sergeant David M. Schaetzel came to the Police Department in 1984. Sgt. Schaetzel was involved in the implementation of the department's first D.A.R.E. program, and was teaching in our schools for several years.

Sergeant Timothy E. Bruce came to the department in 1988. In 1996 he took over the D.A.R.E. program. He taught in the schools until his appointment to Merit Sergeant in 2003.
